Global Company Leaders and Foreign Direct Investment Professionals in the Carolinas to Network and Discuss Opportunities and Challenges
CHARLOTTE, NC – The sixth annual Global Carolina Connections Conference – the premier conference on foreign direct investment and international manufacturing in the Carolinas – will be held on Wednesday, August 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Harris Conference Center in Charlotte.
Hundreds of executives and managers from foreign-owned and affiliated companies will be in attendance along with local economic development, business and government leaders for a day of presentations and panel discussions on topics of immediate relevance and importance.

Jast will lead the morning presentation on “The State of Foreign Investment in the Carolinas: Challenges and Opportunities” and a breakout session on lead generation and investment attraction. The agenda also includes presentations and panel discussions on Belgian investment in the Carolinas, trends in supply chain logistics, international banking, workforce development initiatives, and international trade from leading state and local economic developers and educators.
